CANCELLATION POLICY

Customer Care

Payments, deposits and reservations

• Deposits are non-transferable, non-refundable and subject to the cancellation policy below.

Exceptions are made for extenuating circumstances at management’s discretion, in which case a

cancellation/handling fee will be charged.

• Full payment is due on the day of arrival, or the following morning at latest, for arrivals after office

hours.

• No refunds, under any circumstances, for late check-ins or early check-outs.

• Tariffs quoted at time of booking are subject to change without prior notice.

• The name we have against the reservation is responsible for the account.

• We reserve the right to change your booked chalet or site as per our operational requirements.

 

Arrival and Departure Times

• Arrival time is from 2:00 pm and departure time is before 10:00 am.

• Unauthorised early arrivals or late departures will be charged for an extra night. Please arrange

with management should you want to arrive early or depart late.

• Strictly no early arrivals or late departures over Long Weekends, Easter, throughout December or

the first week of January.

 

Cancellation Policy

• In the event of cancellation, the following rules shall apply:

• More than 30 days prior to arrival: 100% deposit refundable (less a 5%admin fee). More than 14

days prior to arrival: 50% deposit refundable (less a 5%admin fee). Less than 14 days prior to

arrival: 0% deposit refundable. Deposits for Christmas and Easter Holiday bookings are nonrefundable.

 

General Resort Rules:

• No littering.

• No smoking in any buildings at Glengarry.

• No fires on the ground; fires are only permitted in a braai stand.

• No pets (Fine of R200 per pet per day).

• No motorised motorbikes or quadbikes.

• Speed Limit - 20km.

• Please leave the ablutions as you would like to find them.

• Maximum 8 persons per camping site.

• We strongly recommend that mountain bikers (of all ages) wear helmets when riding.

• Staff members must be treated with respect at all times.

Noise Policy

• Glengarry is a family-friendly resort, and we encourage you to enjoy the peaceful and tranquil

outdoor environment, and be considerate of other guests, especially your neighbours.

• We do not tolerate loud noise, music or any other disturbances at any time of day or night.

• Music and voices must only be heard on your designated site.

• We have a strict no noise policy after 9pm.

• Be aware that groups tend to have a cumulative effect.

• No foul language will be tolerated
